The original intent behind Per Sebek was to create a place to house all the disparate information about Sobek and gather it in one place. It served as information site and general spiritual site that had prayers to Sobek and pages about my experiences with Him and other Gods.

However, since moving to this domain, I had always planned a rewrite and an update, because the information was around four years old and half the links didn’t work. But I never quite got around to it until now.

I think what I’d like this site to be is still what I originally intended, but perhaps organised better. Definitely much information about Sobek, but also more reflection and personal experience and better use of the blog thing. I’ll probably update this page once I’ve finished to reflect what it becomes.

Per Sebek means the House of Sobek, and I suppose that’s what I want this to be. A place for Him, for people interested in Him to come and learn about Him. That’s why I had the virtual shrine for Him on the original site, for people to leave their prayers with Him. I’m not sure if I’ll do that again with the rebuild, but we’ll see.

Proposed schedule for rebuild: (subject to change)

1) Rewrite information about Sobek page.

2) Revise and rewrite personal experiences – possibly don’t need a billion pages for every single God I’ve ever talked to.

3) Still, revise structure of personal experiences page so it’s more comprehensive and, well, generally better.

4) Put all them prayers back up.

5) Ponder virtual shrine.

6) Get blog thing sorted. Maybe weekly posting? IDK.

7) ???

PROFIT.

Anyway. Will update this as progress is made to reflect what I’ve done. Since, you know, I have to do this now, since there’s nothing here. XD

The Gods really work in strange ways, don’t They? Perhaps Sobek was tired of me saying I was gonna redecorate and never getting around to it, so He made the decision for me. Ta, Daddy. Luvs you too.
